We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join us on the rewarding journey were taking here at Castle Trust Bank. As a fintech challenger bank we provide specialist property mortgages retail finance lending and savings accounts to a wide range of customers.
Reporting to the CFO this is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping Castle Trust Banks financial strategy through highquality insight robust planning and forwardlooking analysis. Youll lead the Banks budgeting forecasting and longterm financial planning delivering highquality insight and performance reporting to the Board and Executive Committee. Acting as a trusted advisor to the Executive team youll provide commercial analysis scenario modelling and investment appraisal to support strategic decisionmaking while driving continuous improvement in FP&A systems reporting and automation. Over time youll build and develop a highperforming FP&A team.
Initially operating as a senior individual contributor youll provide targeted insight across all areas of the organisation with scope over time to build and lead a highperforming FP&A team.
Working arrangements
This role is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of three days per week in our Basingstoke office and the remainder worked from home. If you prefer to work more days in the office thats equally fine.
What were looking for in you
Youll be a commercially minded finance leader with strong analytical capability and the confidence to influence at executive level. Youll combine deep technical expertise with the ability to communicate complex insights clearly enabling informed strategic decisionmaking in a regulated financial services environment.
Essential
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA or CFA)
- Proven experience in senior FP&A commercial finance or finance business partnering roles
- Strong financial modelling forecasting and data analysis skills
- Experience producing highquality management and Boardlevel reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to support and challenge at all levels
- Strong Excel skills and a clear understanding of best practice in financial planning and reporting
Desirable
- Experience within financial services
- Prior experience building or leading FP&A teams
Youll be a proactive selfstarter with a handson deliveryfocused approach comfortable operating in a fastpaced environment and committed to driving strong customer and commercial outcomes.
