Job Summary

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Import & Export Logistics Executive to manage and coordinate all import and export activities under the Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) framework. This role is critical in ensuring smooth shipment flows full regulatory compliance and accurate documentation and reporting while supporting cost efficiency and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

  • Manage end-to-end import and export operations under LMW status including bonded movements duty exemptions and approved manufacturing activities.

  • Coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials components and machinery as well as outbound shipments of finished goods.

  • Prepare review and submit all import and export documentation such as invoices packing lists bills of lading airway bills and customs declarations.

  • Work closely with freight forwarders customs agents and internal teams (Procurement Production Warehouse Engineering) to ensure timely customs clearance and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Ensure accurate HS code classification and compliance with Malaysian customs LMW requirements and trade regulations.

  • Maintain accurate complete and timely submission of all shipping and regulatory documents.

  • Ensure full compliance with LMW licensing requirements including maintaining valid licenses and preparing monthly quarterly and annual reports.

  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits with complete and accurate documentation.

  • Liaise with government agencies such as Royal Malaysian Customs MITI and MIDA to facilitate smooth import export and compliance processes.

  • Continuously review and improve import/export and LMW processes proposing cost and time-saving initiatives.

  • Stay updated on changes in customs laws trade regulations and LMW conditions and ensure timely implementation within the organization.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics International Trade Supply Chain Business Administration or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in import/export or logistics operations within a manufacturing and LMW environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian customs procedures LMW licensing requirements import/export regulations HS codes and Incoterms.

  • Excellent documentation organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel; experience with ERP or logistics systems (e.g. SAP) is an advantage.

  • High attention to detail ability to work under pressure manage multiple shipments and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
