Why Ballys

Ballys Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states a golf course in New York a horse racetrack in Colorado and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle UK further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Ballys Interactive International formerly Gamesys Group a leading global interactive gaming operator Bally Bet a first-in-class sports betting platform and Bally Casino a growing iCasino platform.

With 10600 employees the Companys casino operations include approximately 15300 slot machines 580 table games and 3800 hotel rooms. Ballys also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.

Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen) the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states one of which will be an additional state that expands Ballys jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2400 slot machines 50 table games and 150 hotel rooms to the Ballys portfolio. Ballys will also become the successor of Queens significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).

The Role:

Actively manage daily accounting and reporting of all gaming and non-gaming revenue. Assist Revenue Accounting Manager with routine oversight of the department and act as Manager in Managers absence.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a pleasant friendly and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
Delegate authority and assign responsibilities and work schedules to department staff.
Provide hands-on leadership to Revenue Accounting department.
Prepare and post revenue journal entries for all revenues and comp and coupon expenses.
Assist with reconciliation of general ledger.
Ensure timely complete and correct reporting of all revenue and associated gaming taxes.
Prepare weekly gaming tax returns.
Maintain tracking records for all revenue.
Prepare for and participate in audits.
Participate in interviewing hiring developing and evaluating department staff.
Recommend and administer disciplinary action as necessary.
Timely communicate all Revenue Accounting issues.
Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information operating systems company policies and procedures marketing plans and team member and guest information.
Prepare and deliver reports as needed.
Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.
Comply with all policies and procedures established by Casino KC and department management.
Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

Qualifications:

A 2-year degree in a finance- or accounting-related field at least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Gaming industry experience is strongly preferred.
Must obtain and maintain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license.
Appropriate use of office equipment including personal computer telephone with voice mail system fax machine and copy machine.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products is required.
Must be able to work any necessary hours including early mornings late nights weekends and holidays.
Read write and understand complex instructions and reports.
Communicate appropriately with all casino guests casino departments and fellow team members.
Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal state and/or local regulations.
Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
