Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Foot Patrol in Naples FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol professional conducting routine foot and vehicle patrols maintaining a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and responding to alarms and calls for service. You will control access document activity and communicate clearly with staff and the public while delivering customer service that reflects our agile reliable and innovative approach powered by teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Perform armed patrol duties including regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and conduct security-related screening and/or identification checks as directed by post orders documenting observations and reporting concerns through the appropriate channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site personnel and/or public agencies as needed.
- Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation maintain assigned equipment and follow all licensing requirements and Allied Universal policies for armed posts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement/military/security experience OR a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Have a DD214 with honorable discharge OR an associates degree or 60 college credits OR a police academy certificate OR a corrections academy certificate.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
