Job Summary
Extended School Year (ESY) is a Special Education Program for students with disabilities whose IEP team has determined that in order to prevent substantial regression and reduce recoupment times the students require a longer year. Services are based on individual needs to address IEP goals and RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise consult and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant(s) (COTAs).Schedule and provide occupational therapy services for students on an IEPCommunicate student progress based on data collected to parents/guardians and school personnelDeliver effective instruction and fulfill all professional responsibilitiesWillingness to be trained in and use positive behavior support strategiesComplete any other duty or assignments as directed by the Director of Special Education/ESY Coordinator
