Instrumentation Technical Services (ITS) an ATS company is a well-established company specializing in process and laboratory calibrations and repair services to maintain compliance efficiency. ITS services a wide array of industries including Pharmaceutical Biotech Aerospace Petrochemical Chemical Pulp & Paper Food/Beverage Power Generation Electronic / other Manufacturing etc.

The Position:

ITS is seeking a Calibration Technician with experience in manufacturing instrumentation and equipment calibration specific to the Food & Beverage Biotech or Pharmaceutical industries. This role will be based at a client site in the Newark DE area.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment.

Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration/maintenance activities autonomously and as part of a team
  • Monitor and/or recognize suitability of environmental conditions during calibration activities
  • Monitor and/or recognize suitability of standards used in calibrations
  • Follow OSHA guidelines as dictated by jobsite requirements
  • Exercise good customer relations skills
  • Identify and document/catalog instrumentation pursuant to organization practices



Qualifications

Requirements

  • 2 5 years of related experience with a high school diploma orequivalent or a combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in mechanical measuring inspection and testing instrumentation / equipment calibration
  • Specific calibration experience in pressure temperature air & liquid flow conductivity pH weighing systems (scales) gas detection systems and abasic electrical understanding
  • GMP and cleanroom familiarity is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including TEAMS for online meetings
  • Commercial or Military experience acceptable
  • Ability to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands. Overtime work is required.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds.
  • A clean driving record background check and drug screen is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree (AS/AAS) in Electronics Instrumentation or related field
  • Experience in Food & Beverage Biotechnology and/or Pharmaceutical manufacturing
