About the role
We are looking for a talented Principal Scientist specialized in ligand binding assays and immunoassays (LBA & IA) to join our newly forming Translational Research team alongside the Biomarker Assay Sciences team.
The focus of this role will be to deliver strategic solutions and key translational data to support both clinical biomarker and quantitative pharmacology strategies.
Who youll work with
Working closely alongside members of the Biomarker Assay Sciences team you will gain a breadth of experience across the drug discovery & development pipeline with opportunities to learn and contribute in a scientific and cross-functional setting. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary Bioanalytical Leads Biomarker Leads Research Leads and the broader project team.
What youll do
- Deliver high-quality fit-for-purpose ligand binding assay and immunoassay (LBA and IA) solutions to address key translational data requirements.
- Interface closely with multiple diverse disease areas in an agile manner to rapidly understand the underlying biology informing the therapeutic approach of the programmes you are supporting and present and interpret data at multi-disciplinary project team meetings.
- You will implement scientific strategic understanding to critically consider the context of use of analytical endpoints in order to communicate feasibility and impact on study data interpretation.
- You will represent the team as a Subject Matter Expert in multiple stakeholder interactions: collaboration with various project teams and leadership within matrix teams and leading CRO interactions to transfer and deliver key assays to deadlines (Contract Research Organisations).
