Apprenticeship Programmes are a great way to earn and learn! Our Apprentice Project Manager Programme offers the perfect blend of personal and professional development exposing you to the core of our business.

Youll be supported every step of the way. Your role will be to gain practical experience in a few teams developing your knowledge and understanding of Severn Trent and the processes.

All of this will allow you to further develop your skills so you can communicate data effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders. Furthermore youll spend time with our Project Management team assisting and running the delivery of multi-million-pound programmes of work across rivers and wastewater treatment works. Youll liaise with other teams working collaboratively to deliver projects that impact the wider business.

HOW WILL THE PROGRAMME WORK

You will be based in Shrewsbury Shropshire the heart of our patch. The programme requires you to complete placements within project teams gaining exposure in different areas of the department so that you are equipped with the right skills to build your career here at Severn Trent.

In this exciting programme you will have the chance to discuss your development and career ambitions in your 1-1 meetings with business leads mentors a study buddy the cohort leader and the New Talent Team.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will expand your knowledge of:

  • Managing the project lifecycle in full from design to delivery.
  • Managing and report on projects for time cost and quality.
  • The promotion and handover of projects.
  • Working collaboratively in a mixed role team developing your skills and learning consistently from others to deliver projects from start to finish.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Our New Talent Team will guide you and support you every step of the way. Furthermore your line manager mentor and apprentice buddy will be there to help you in making sure you reach your full potential here at Severn Trent.

Apprenticeship Duration: 18 months (not including EPA period)

Starting Salary: 22500

Entry Criteria: For this Apprenticeship Programme (Level 4 Foundation Degree) we require

all candidates to have Level 3 qualifications (A-Levels BTEC National NVQ/SVQ Level 3

Level 3 advanced apprenticeship). Please confirm that you do/will meet this requirement.

Driving Requirements: If you are successful you will require a full UK licence and access to your own vehicle upon beginning your role.

You will be working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday across a 8am - 4pm/9am - 5pm working pattern.
