• The Intern / Co-op term is from June to August 2026.
• Full time requirement (40 hours per week).

Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Data Science Intern to support our research and development initiatives focusing on in-silico perturbation models. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work with our AI/ML team on validation of network models to assess in-silico perturbation methods and results. With this we aim to improve our drug discovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the PAI team and DPDS to validate in-silico models for perturbations.
• Analyze and aggregate results from multiple in-silico experiments.
• Present analytical findings to cross-functional teams contextualizing results within broader project goals.
• Draft technical papers for high impact conferences and/or journals

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Ph.D. in computational biology genetics or a related field.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher which is reflective of all college coursework.
• Extensive hands-on experience in AI/ML research and/or computational biology
• Experience in network modeling
• Proficiency in Python and R
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate and collaborate in a cross-functional setting

Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g. H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT OPT or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

The expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidates program year discipline degree and/or -Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the -Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington up to 56 hours per calendar -Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension).
