In the Fixed Income division we work in fast-paced and constantly changing global markets to assess and manage risk trade securities manage relationships with clients and structure and execute innovative transactions.

Morgan Stanley FID Secured Lending group (FSL) is seeking to hire an intern to be part of its lending portfolio management platform based in Budapest in a flexible 20/30/40 hours per week work arrangement.

FSL provides asset-backed financing solutions to institutional clients and manages a portfolio backed by a diverse range of assets including consumer loans residential and commercial mortgages student loans corporate loans etc. The asset management team within FSL provides ongoing portfolio management monitoring and risk oversight and reports to senior management.

You will:

• Analyse assets including residential mortgages auto loans commercial real estate loans and other cash-flow generating assets
• Provide oversight of ongoing client requests for fundings
• Work with other internal teams to build-out transaction & collateral monitoring systems
• Provide senior management with monthly quarterly and annual updates on the lending portfolio
• Conduct market and asset level research

You have:

• Ongoing BSc or MSc studies in Finance Economics or in a quantitative field (e.g. Engineering Sciences)
• Excellent data management skills: MS Excel pivot tables database management (Access or SQL experience is a plus)
• Strong work ethic attention to detail analytical mindset
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
