As Managing Director you will have overall responsibility for Arkitema Norway strategically professionally and commercially. Based in Oslo you will lead an organisation of approximately 100 employees across the Oslo and Trondheim offices together with your leadership team holding day-to-day management responsibility and working closely with the Board and COWI to set goals and drive future development.

The role combines the responsibilities of Managing Director with professional leadership of the architectural practice. You will play a pivotal role in advancing Arkitemas position in Norway deepen collaboration with COWI and ensure delivery of integrated high-quality architecture and engineering solutions.

You will report to the Senior Vice President for Buildings and Industry at COWI Norway and be part of the divisions leadership team serving as a key contributor in uniting Arkitemas creative vision with COWIs robust project execution.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• overall responsibility for operations and financial performance of Arkitema Norway - including budgeting profitability and goal achievement.
• manage and further develop the architectural practice promote an inclusive culture and ensure high employee engagement and professional excellence.
• represent Arkitema in the market build relationships with clients and partners and contribute to sustainable growth and an enhanced market position.
• ensure the architectural development effective resource management and quality in project deliveries.
• deepen collaboration with COWI and help deliver integrated solutions support cross-selling efforts and advance joint strategic initiatives

• holds a degree in architecture or related discipline.
• brings extensive leadership experience with P&L responsibility within architecture consulting or the construction industry.
• has extensive experience in financial management and business development.
• communicates fluently in English and a Scandinavian language.
• enjoys building culture developing people and encouraging collaborationboth locally and across the wider organization.
