About the Position:
As BYDs Logistics Operations Specialist youll spearhead key aspects of our automotive business in Norway. Your role involves optimizing vehicle inventory managing logistics and enhancing customer satisfaction. Youll collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams oversee supply chain management if youre ready to drive innovation and shape the future of sustainable transportation we encourage you to apply and become a key player in our Operations team.
Responsibilities:
You are the central point of contact in the vehicle logistics and in the optimization of existing transport network;
For all transport & delivery related topics you will work closely together with the sales/marketing/planning/product team to provide a multi-model transport solution including: deep sea/short sea/railway/road/air and any other transportation;
You will cooperate with team of logistics professionals to fulfill the inbound and outbound vehicle logistics tasks. Your key task is to ensure timely and cost efficiently implementation of delivery plan and meanwhile intervening and pre-alerting for any possible risks that might bring any delay or obstacle to the deliveries;
Support Management in setting up BYD processes from Inbound Inventory/compounds management and outbound logistics in Europe based on the cost effectiveness and efficiency of the entire supply chain.
Position requirements:
3 years of related working experience;
Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain or graduate of related study fields;
Working experience in automotive industry (OEM manufacturer) is preferred;
Strong proficiency in Excel Power BI and Data Analysis.
Excellent English language skills; Chinese or Norwegian will be considered as an advantage;
Stress-resilient with the problem solving and result-oriental mindset;
Ability to prioritize organize and take ownership of the tasks on hand;
