With the creation of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Federal Australian Agencies were building a high-performance team to guide major agencies through the how of ERP migration with proven strategy expert delivery and scalable lasting impact.

Initially an 18-month transformation program this high-profile strategic initiative will be the successful candidates initial assignment before transitioning into the broader Customer Success and Delivery area to extend the best practices and knowledge gained there.

About the Role:

This is a criticalconsulting rolefocused on establishing the essentialpolicy and accountability architecturenecessary to convert strategic advisory into an auditable contractual reality and champions defining and ownership of delivery outcomes of assigned projects or areas of responsibility. The Principal Executives expertise lies inpolicy and governance consulting ensuring the framework for shared and individual responsibility is robust. This role worksclosely in hand with the Expert Cloud Engagement Executiveon high-level policy negotiations and with the Enterprise Cloud Engagement Architect on validating technical assurance against legal requirements leading the certification of theGoverned On-Rampthat clears the path for contract execution.

Job Responsibilities:

Excellent facilitation and communication skills are essential as is the ability to effectively engage with executive stakeholders partners and SAP account teams. Other key competencies of this role include the ability to:

  • Provide expert policy and governance consultingto C-Suite leaders actively negotiating and resolving ambiguities related to risk procurement and cloud service terms.
  • Work closely in hand with theExpertCloud Engagement Executiveon high-level governance and policy negotiations ensuring the final policy frameworks support the executive-defined risk posture.
  • Develop the definitiveAccountability Frameworkthat confirms shared and individual responsibility across solutions managements cyber security and the operating model ensuring all parties obligations are explicit.
  • Collaborate with theEnterprise Cloud Engagement Architectto formalise the technical risk documentation into auditable policy statements suitable for legal review.
  • Lead the documentationrequiredfor theGoverned On-Rampprocesses verifying that all policy impediments and contractual ambiguities are formally resolvedat best or path to resolution clearly articulatedprior to final commitment and the handover to the downstream SAP Account Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with internal SAP teams addressing national security risk mitigation including GS2 to ensure policy frameworks meet stringent security protocols for handling sensitive Commonwealth information.
  • Work with Platform/ Basis teams to extractappropriate reportsfrom Agency environments. Continuously improve knowledge gathering and articulation of advice from these reports working withappropriate linesof business.
  • Management of demonstration environments as well as back log of proof of concept and technical uplift backlog.

On a Continuous Basis:

  • Maintain awareness of the CS&D strategy in terms of transformation initiatives methodology tools delivery strategy and promote the understanding and adoption within the Project or Program.
  • Lead by example mentor and coach other team members.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of mandatory training.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of SAP solutions and of the CS&D business processes and functions.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • (Primary)Workingappreciation for technical and policy requirements addressingcloud computing requirementsofpublic sectorcustomers.
  • Proven ability to work across internal SAP Lines of Business articulating customerNon-Functional Requirements (NFRs)that reflect risk-mitigating sovereign policy and legal requirements of cloud.
  • Workingknowledge of thePSPF Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and legislative requirementsgoverning data and security in cloud arrangements.
  • Workingcomprehension and practical experienceacross SAP Enterprise Cloud solutions and technical trajectory.
  • Significant experience ideally exceeding4years inpolicy consulting public sector procurement contract negotiation and ICT service delivery agreementswith the Australian Commonwealth.
  • Deep appreciation for working with technical and policy requirements addressingsovereign cloud computing requirementsof customers.
  • Proven ability to work across internal SAP Lines of Business articulating customerNon-Functional Requirements (NFRs)that reflect risk-mitigating sovereign policy and legal requirements of cloud.
