Rehabilitation Consultant Occupational Therapist
Job Summary
We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapy interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Sunshine Coast Queensland.
You will be joining a closeknit team of six health professionals based on the Sunshine Coast just minutes from the beach. We bring together diverse health backgrounds in a supportive collaborative environment where wellbeing comes first. Participate in team wellness and social activities a friendly tipping competition and opportunities to travel to regional areas. Its a workplace that values balance connection and genuine team culture.
In this diverse role as a Rehabilitation Consultant you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Some of your day to day includes:
- Case management (caseloads are manageable and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
- Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs and partner collaboratively with injured workers employers medical and allied health professionals
- Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
- Complete a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills such as Functional Capacity Evaluations Worksite Assessments Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.

Qualifications :
Our new team member will have:
- A qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to obtain
- Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships
- Excellent time management skills - be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- A desire to problem solve with the confidence to be innovative use their initiative and achieve results
- A passion for injury prevention return to work and the associated health benefits
- A current drivers license and access to their own vehicle
