Provide field office and engineering support maintenance firm specializing in municipal rail transport including structure and track.
Primary responsibilities:
- Prepared reports submittals and transmittals using Expedition
- Shadow Track Engineer for the routine daily activities
- Site visit and gather information based on request
- Review as-built drawings for entire contract conforming to specifications
- Check the field calculations time tracking and cost impacts
- Coordinated with contractors to gather needed technical information
- Supervised daily site informationand associated contract obligations
- Work with project teams to update and maintain project schedules
- Meet with clients to address specific issues on projects
Required Specific Skills/Abilities:
- Third year standing in the civil engineering program
- Interest in railway and maintenance projects
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarization with local codes and regulations
