This position Intern supports AirSprints Operations control team with a primary focus on flight following. This role involves monitoring active and scheduled flights to support safe efficient and compliant operations. The Intern may gain exposure to other areas of Operations Control including travel coordination and flight support as this role you will:Monitor the location and status of all active and scheduled flights ensuring detailed and timely updates are communicated to the Owner Services team and Duty ManagersMonitor the status and progression of active and scheduled flights ensuring timely and accurate updates are communicated to internal teams. Maintain awareness of weather and operational impacts escalating any potential issues to the Duty Manager. Actively update and coordinate with third-party providers (e.g. FBOs customs slots/PPRs) regarding changes and estimated arrival/departure times. Proactively communicate updates to the Owner Services team to support coordination of owner-specific logistics and passenger communication. Escalate and respond to operational irregularities in accordance with established procedures. Ensure accuracy of information across systems and with operational tasks including flight support and crew travel as needed. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Control be successful in this role you will have:High School Diploma or equivalentEnrolled in a post-secondary education proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word).Restricted Operator Certificate (ROC-A). If the incumbent does not obtain this certification it will be included in their points if you have:Have experience/ education/ skills in the related field (will be considered as an asset).Youll fit right in if you:Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in a humble team player and are ready to pitch in wherever youre on getting things right down to the last passionate about providing exceptional customer committed to growth by seeking and providing constructive feedback.
