Whats the role
The Senior Infrastructure Services Specialist (Enable) is accountable for the endtoend operational health resilience and continuous improvement of Middleware Products including IBM MQ DataPower IIB/ACE and Instana within Technology Enterprise Technology Services.
The role operates at Enable level requiring independent decisionmaking deep technical authority and the ability to set operational direction for middleware services. A core accountability is to drive automation of daytoday operational activities using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) enabling a scalable standardised and lowrisk operating model across middleware platforms.
What do I need
- Deep handson experience supporting enterprise Middleware Products including:
- IBM MQ
- IBM DataPower
- IBM IIB / ACE
- ITCAM / Instana
- Strong experience designing and operating automation using Ansible / AAP in regulated enterprise environments.
- Solid Linux/Unix operational experience and strong troubleshooting capability across distributed systems.
- Exposure with the following tools would be an added advantage:
- Splunk
- Elastic
- CARA
