During this 10-week program Summer Analysts are placed directly into an industry team in one of the following sectors: Consumer Energy Utilities Financials Healthcare Industrials Materials Media Telecommunication or Technology. The placements are made based on the needs of the department and the skill set of the candidate.
The Summer Analyst Program begins with a training and development curriculum that covers the fundamental and professional skills you need for success in Equity Research. After a brief training period Summer Analysts will be assigned to a specific industry group building a foundation in the basic skills of fundamental analysis accounting and valuation. There will be networking opportunities and ongoing training throughout the program.
Role and Responsibilities
- Build and update financial models on the companies and industry your team covers incorporating key drivers forecasts and scenario analysis as needed.
- Collect organize and analyze industry data to identify emerging trends and potential investment implications.
- Assess relative stock valuations and discuss key findings and catalysts with your team.
- Contribute to drafting and refinement of research reports including company thematic pieces and broader industry analyses.
- Collaborate with partners across Sales & Trading and the wider Research division.
Qualifications and Skills
- You are pursuing an undergraduate bachelors degree with a graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- You have a demonstrated interest in finance with foundational knowledge about equity markets and a strong motivation to deepen that expertise.
- You are analytical intellectually curious and detail-oriented with the ability to interpret data and identify key insights.
- You have a strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
- You possess outstanding communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- You are a self-starter who is proactive and accountable and able to take ownership of tasks and follow through independently.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be $52.89 per hour at the commencement of employment.
