Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Fleet Patrol Driver in New Orleans LA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal on an armed primarily driving patrol post supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to calls for service with clear communication and customer-focused professionalism. This role requires a valid armed guard card/license and a valid drivers license. You will thrive in a caring people-first team that is agile reliable innovative and driven by integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures access control protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial property buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
- Respond to alarms calls for service and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; assess conditions and coordinate with property management and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Prepare complete and accurate written reports of incidents suspicious activity patrol observations and corrective actions; maintain required logs and documentation.
- Operate security-related equipment such as radios CCTV and access control systems; follow post orders for weapon handling inspections and secure storage in accordance with policy.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card/license is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
