As a Security Officer Armed Patrol License Required in Miami FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transit location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government transit location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit facilities platforms parking areas administrative spaces and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Serve in an armed patrol role in accordance with post orders applicable laws and Allied Universal standards maintaining professional interaction with the public while monitoring access restricted areas and high-traffic locations.
• Assist with access control crowd management and/or incident response during routine operations service disruptions special events and other periods of increased public activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
