Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Communications Ambassador to join the team in Chicagos Gold Coast!
Recognized as one of the Best Hotels in the World and in Chicago with the Top Hotel Spa in the U.S. the AAA-Five-Diamond Forbes 4-Star Waldorf Astoria Chicago is nestled in the prestigious Gold Coast neighborhood among the famed Oak Street retailers and beach Rush Street restaurants and nightlife and The Magnificent Mile. Reminiscent of the grand Parisian hotels of the 1920s this luxury hotel features 215 rooms over 5000 square feet of meeting space and 4 food and beverage outlets. This includes a restaurant 2 bars and in-room dining.
- Shift:AM / PM - must be available to work 8-hour shifts (AM or PM) to include weekends and holidays.
- Compensation: $26.60 per hour plus benefits.
What will I be doing
As a Communications Ambassador you would be responsible for answering and responding to internal and external calls in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues via telephone in a timely friendly and efficient manner
- Provide information and demonstrate knowledge of all hotel facilities and services
- Respond to emergencies and document and relay comprehensive accurate information to proper parties in emergency situations
- Accept and deliver all messages promptly and accurately utilizing proper grammar and spelling
- Operate office equipment including but not limited to computers PBX system fax machine e-mail etc.
