ShortTerm Assignment NonFinancial Risk Team Lead Virtual Capability Team in Central and Eastern Europe Region
Duration: 12 months
Location: WB Central Eastern Europe Region (Austria Bulgaria Czech Republic Hungary Slovakia and Ukraine). The STA is open for employees form other countries as well. Working from another location will be established through mutual agreement.
We are looking for an experienced NonFinancial Risk Manager to lead the setup and operationalization of this virtual capability team for a oneyear assignment. To strengthen the maturity efficiency and crossborder collaboration of NonFinancial Risk (NFR) management across the WB Central Eastern Europe (CEE) region ING is establishing a virtual NFR capability team serving six countries from a shared model. This new way of working will enhance scalability consistency and workload transparency through a centralized intake and work allocation approach enabling a fully integrated team rather than separate countrybased NFR functions.

Purpose of the Assignment
The assignee will act as the working foreman/forewoman of the new virtual NFR capability team responsible for leading the team while also actively supporting daily operational NFR work for Slovakia Branch. The assignment will play a key role in implementing the new riskbased way of working and embedding harmonized NFR capabilities across the CEE region.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Daily Operations
Acting as the working foreman/forewoman: leading a team of 7 NFR specialists while being engaged in daily NFR operational activities for Slovakia Branch as the first point of contact.
Ensuring work within the virtual team is executed efficiently and in full alignment with INGs NFR quality standards.
Daytoday management of the virtual CEE NFR team including KPIs performance monitoring review cycles and appraisal activities.
Building the Virtual NFR Capability Team
Designing and implementing a virtual NFR capability team operating across Austria Bulgaria Czech Republic Hungary Slovakia and Ukraine.
Creating a cohesive team culture and operational model where team members work as one integrated regional team not as separate country units.
Ensuring crossborder backup capabilities and workload balancing through available (AIenabled) tooling.
Implementation of the New NFR Target Operating Model
Translating the new riskbased way of workingcurrently being drafted at Head Office NFRinto a structured regional transition plan.
Driving adoption of standardized processes best practices and central intake workflows across the region.
Monitoring and reporting on progress risks and dependencies.
Governance Planning & Stakeholder Management
Setting up the proper governance structure for the virtual capability team including evaluating sourcing options where appropriate.
Acting as the primary point of contact for team coordination planning and issue resolution.
Engaging with CEE and EMEA regional stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities performance and expected outcomes.
Profile Requirements
We are looking for the following knowledge and experience:
Musthave
Strong knowledge and experience in NonFinancial Risk management (3 years recommended).
Experience leading or coordinating teams ideally in a virtual or crossborder environment.
Proven ability to manage transitions implement new ways of working and drive process standardization.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong organizational capabilities and experience with workload planning.
Ability to work handson while simultaneously steering team performance.

Experience working in the CEE region.
Experience with AIenabled workload or processdistribution tools.
Background in sourcing models or service delivery setups.
