Job Summary

Cartoonbase is at the crossroad between a creative agency and a consultancy. It means we are solving strategic problems for our clients in the most creative way possible.

Our ambition is to leverage the power of visual thinking with well-crafted communication strategies. We are based in Brussels Lausanne and Paris and work with multinational companies NGOs state organizations and SMEs.

To support our creative production we are looking for a junior illustrator intern to join our team.

As an intern illustrator at Cartoonbase you will:

Participate in brainstorming sessions with the creative team to develop strong visual concepts
Translate scripts and concepts into storyboards
Produce illustrations from sketches to final assets (inking colouring rendering)
Work in a hybrid workflow combining traditional drawing skills with digital production (Photoshop Procreate and/or Illustrator vector illustration)
Prepare clean production files for animation (layer organisation naming formats cut assets)
Occasionally support other creative needs within a fast-growing studio environment

You will report to the Producer (Head of Studio) and the Creative Director and collaborate closely with project managers and the creative team.
