Job Summary

Position Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. The Strategic Initiatives Administrative Coordinator will report to the Strategic Initiatives Executive Assistant on the Strategic Initiatives team. The Strategic Initiatives Administrative Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to executive directors within the assigned assistant vice chancellor vertical. The duties include administrative support and logistics travel management communications and finance/budget management. The Strategic Initiatives Administrative Coordinator is responsible for independent problem solving answering questions providing information and taking action on behalf of the chief development officers and others as authorized. This position must analyze prioritize and keep track of multiple pieces of complex and often confidential information in order to make accurate efficient recommendations regarding workflow and provide facilitation and processing of information and verbal and written correspondence. The individual must facilitate completion of work at a rapid pace on time-sensitive matters with routine interruptions. All of the above must be done with minimal errors and utmost professionalism in an office whose priorities must adapt to evolving needs and demands from within the University and with strategic partners.
