Senior Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Platform Automation Engineer to design build and support scalable automation solutions across infrastructure and enterprise platforms. This role focuses on architecture system integration scripting and API-driven automation to improve reliability efficiency and observability across environments.

• Design implement and evolve platform architecture processes and their integration with connected enterprise systems.
• Develop enhance and maintain automation modules and frameworks primarily using PowerShell and C#.
• Build and manage automation tools and scripts leveraging REST APIs to integrate with infrastructure and platform services.
• Create reports and insights using data collected from automation scripts and API integrations with infrastructure platforms.
• Execute proofs of concept (POCs) and feasibility studies to evaluate next-generation technologies using findings to inform architectural and business decisions.
• Perform analysis root cause investigation and resolution of automation failures system issues and potential risks.
• Provide support and guidance to teams consuming and operating automation platforms.
• Own and maintain technical documentation including architecture designs operational runbooks and integration guides.
• Be accountable for the integration operation and ongoing maintenance of multiple enterprise services and applications within the automation ecosystem.

Experience with one or more of the following technologies is highly desirable:

• VMware virtualization platforms
• Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Cisco UCS systems
• Microsoft System Center technologies
• Data center architecture principles and infrastructure concepts
• Kubernetes and containerized platforms
• Linux operating systems
