We are seeking a Product Launch Engineerto join our team.
Job description:
- New Product Introduction
Lead and coordinate new product and project launches from customer requirements through SOP (Start of Production).
Develop maintain and track detailed project plans covering timing cost and quality targets.
Drive crossfunctional collaboration across production quality supply chain and engineering teams.
Support APQP/PPAP activities and ensure all required documentation is completed and approved.
Coordinate product and process validation activities including customer approvals and readiness.
- Change management
Manage engineering changes for series and aftermarket products.
Analyze the impact of changes on cost quality manufacturability and supply chain.
Develop implementation plans and coordinate execution with internal teams customers and suppliers.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the change process.
- Customer & Supplier Interface
Act as a technical point of contact for customers during launch and change activities.
Prepare and support customer audits product reviews and approval processes.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure readiness capability and compliance with project requirements.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Prepare and present project status reports to internal leadership and external partners.
- Monitor KPIs related to launch performance quality timing and cost.
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful launches.
Prototype & PreProduction Management
- Oversee prototype build planning tracking and delivery.
- Ensure prototype requirements are met within defined deadlines and specifications.
Continuous Improvement
- Propose and support cost saving ideas. Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes standards and best practices.

Requirements:
- Working ability in a manufacturing plant environment
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Experience in NPI manufacturing engineering or project engineering (automotive or similar industry preferred).
- Strong understanding of APQP PPAP and validation processes.
- Proficiency with ERP/PLM systems (SAP QAD etc.) and project management tools (MS Project).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic crossfunctional environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Confident in English (spoken & written). In addition German is an advantage.
- Open to travel
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Industrial or Automotive environment
