JOB SUMMARY
The DT Lead CRM & Commercial Solutions Japan serves as the local owner of the Global Standard CRM Platform ensuring its successful adoption optimization and value realization within the Japan organization. The role is accountable for defining and executing the Japan strategy roadmap and operational model for CRM and connected commercial technologiessuch as Veeva CRM CLM Veeva Engage OCCP Case Follow System and thirdparty media integrationswhile ensuring that global design principles governance and standardization are consistently applied.
This role acts as the bridge between global platform strategy and local business needs. By deeply understanding local commercial medical and regulatory requirements the DT Lead ensures that the Global Standard Platform delivers maximum business impact in Japan through fitforpurpose configuration localized adoption support and continuous value optimization.
The DT Lead will play a critical leadership role in Japans transition to the nextgeneration CRM platform over the coming yearsa largescale and complex transformation requiring strong program leadership change management globallocal alignment and technology orchestration.
Leveraging expertise in business processes data and platform architecture the role designs scalable and futureready solutions that accelerate productivity compliance and customer engagement. Working closely with Business functions and Digital Technology teams the DT Lead enables datadriven decisionmaking and contributes to UCB Japans ambition to modernize customer experience and omnichannel engagement.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Act as Japans local owner of the Global Standard CRM Platform and Japan local commercial solutions ensuring its successful deployment localization and business value realization while maintaining alignment with global governance architecture and design standards.
- Lead the nationwide transition to the new CRM solution managing a multiyear complex transformation involving global programs business stakeholders change management data migration and technology integration.
- Partner closely with business units and crossfunctional teams to deploy CRM and commercial solutions that support Japanspecific needs while adhering to global templates and standardized processes.
- Collaborate intensively with Global DT/IT teams (Architecture Centers of Excellence Operations Support) to codesign capabilities resolve platform gaps ensure consistent implementation and secure effective transition into global support models.
- Manage thirdparty vendors and implementation partners coordinating development configuration and rollout activities and ensuring deliverables are of high quality and aligned with platform strategy.
- Provide strategic direction and prioritize solution enhancements ensuring a balanced approach between global product roadmap local regulatory requirements and Japan business priorities.
- Lead endtoend project and program management ensuring delivery on time within scope and budget and in accordance with quality and compliance expectations.
- Translate business requirements into platformaligned architecture specifications defining processes integrations and data flows that meet Japan needs while maintaining global consistency.
- Create and maintain architecture artifacts that clarify endtoend solution design including integration maps domain models and reference architectures.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and governance standards embedding controls in PMO processes SDLC change management and procurement to sustain longterm platform integrity.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelors Degree or above
- 5 years of experience in CRM commercial and project management.
- Experience in latest CRM commercial related tools and technologies: Veeva CRM SFMC SFHC GA4 M3 PowerBI etc.
- 3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry

- Thinks holistically and longterm identifying highimpact opportunities and enhancements that elevate customer engagement and system performance in Japan.
- Excellent collaboration and influence skills working effectively across DT/IT business teams global stakeholders and external partners.
- Fluent in Japanese and English
