At COWI we design solutions that enable a sustainable and liveable world. With a strong global presence our Buildings team works across India Oman and international markets bringing together multidisciplinary expertise to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. We have 120 professionals in India and 50 specialists in Oman collaborating closely with our global network to support clients on complex and prestigious projects.
Our work spans industrial commercial residential hospitality education data centres parking facilities sports and mixed-use developments covering the full project lifecyclefrom feasibility and design to construction support. Through close client collaboration technical excellence and a strong sustainability mindset we help shape resilient future-ready buildings across the region.
As a Specialist you will report to the Head of Building Structures in India.
Your responsibilities will be to: - Lead feasibility concept and detailed structural design across all project phases in line with client needs and international codes
- Deliver and review design of medium to large RCC steel precast and composite structures
- Coordinate across disciplines resolve interface issues and propose sustainable design solutions
- Manage design quality risks timelines and resource needs; guide and mentor junior engineers
- Review certify and present design deliverables; lead technical discussions with clients and stakeholders
- Support project coordination and technical communication with Oman-based teams

Moreover you will have: - Masters in Structural Engineering with 10 years of experience in e in the design of RCC steel and precast and composite structures.
- Strong hands-on experience with ETABS SAFE ROBOT/FEM; Revit/Navisworks knowledge is a plus
- Solid understanding of EURO (EN) BS ACI AISE and other international codes
- Proven delivery of complex structural design projects preferably with international consultants
- Experience in concrete rehabilitation/restoration projects will be an added advantage.
- Middle East project experience (Oman preferred); willingness to travel as required
- Clear communicator collaborative leader and continuously curious to learn and improve
