Canadian Payroll Specialist
Job Summary
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Canadian Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing
for Canadian clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Canadian payroll
regulations compliance and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end Canadian payroll for multiple clients
Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll laws and regulations
Handle payroll deductions including CPP EI and income tax
Prepare and file payroll reports such as T4s ROEs and other statutory filings
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy
Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
Coordinate with clients for payroll inputs and queries
Stay updated with changes in Canadian payroll legislation
Requirements:
2–5 years of experience in Canadian payroll processing
Strong understanding of CPP EI income tax and payroll compliance
Experience with payroll software (e.g. ADP Ceridian or similar tools)
Knowledge of T4 ROE and year-end processing
Good communication skills for client coordination
Ability to work night shifts aligned with Canadian time zones
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with a CPA firm or outsourcing company
Educational background in Accounting ( or equivalent)
Familiarity with bookkeeping concepts
