MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To manage stock distribution processes of pharmaceutical stock to nursing units
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
To ensure the availability of surgical and consumable stock in the nursing unit
Assist with stock holding processes in the hospital and/or pharmacy main store
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:Grade 12 (with Mathematics)
DESIRED EDUCATION: None
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:Working in a private hospital environmentWorking with pharmaceutical stock
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:Pharmaceutical stock management
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Stock replenishment processes and relevant policies
- Stock holding processes and relevant policies
- Charging Policy for Pharmaceuticals (CPP)
- Surgical product knowledge
- Verbal communication skills
- AS400 system
