Head Cheerleading Coach
The Cheerleading Coach is responsible for choreography and teaching cheer routines to the cheerleading squad. Be knowledgeable and skilled in advanced stunting and tumbling to ensure the safety of all program participants. Have the ability to work with teenages to lead them to success. Be professional organized and a dedicated coach. The Coach is responsible for setting and conducting practice times after academic classes and supervising the team at school football and basketball games and any other activities to promote school spirit
Requirements:
All head varsity coaches shall have valid Arizona Teaching Certificate Arizona Coaching Certificate or have
completed the National Federation of State High School Associations Level I Certification online at
within forty five (45) days from date of hire.
Head Coaches shall be approved in accordance with the personnel policies of the school district and in accordance with the Arizona Revised Statutes. This certification shall be on file or recorded in the office of the principal or his/her designee. Any and all salary or remuneration shall be from the school district by which the coach is employed and no salary or remuneration for school coaching shall be from any outside source.
