DescriptionWe are looking for a structured and commercially disciplined professional to support and grow Vertivs maintenance contract business.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the quality growth and operational excellence of our contract portfolio. You will manage a small inherited base of contracts capture new opportunities and provide structured commercial support to the CS team all while maintaining high standards of CRM discipline and pipeline hygiene.

Key Responsibilities Contract Portfolio Management
- Manage and renew a small portfolio of assigned maintenance contracts
- Drive renewals and upselling opportunities
- Prepare standardised proposals and review discounts in line with company policy
- Register and track offers in CRM
- Monitor key dates (expirations renewals internal approvals)
- Maintain professional contact with customers via phone and email
Opportunity Qualification & Proposal Support
- Receive and qualify leads from CS marketing BOT and inbound sources
- Identify decision-makers and validate key technical information
- Prepare proposals directly or transfer qualified opportunities to CS depending on complexity
- Manage disciplined follow-up through to closure or disqualification
- Commercial Support to CS Team
- Track key proposals and ensure documentation is complete
- Prepare draft versions of offers and annexes
- Provide support during peak workload periods (tenders reporting technical documentation gathering)
- Identify stalled opportunities inconsistencies in value/probability and upcoming expirations
This role supports sales effectiveness it is not an administrative position.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate opportunity data (value stage probability closing date next steps)
- Ensure pipeline hygiene and activity discipline
- Review opportunities inactive for more than 30 days
- Maintain realistic closing dates
- Upload supporting evidence (emails notes attachments)
- Produce weekly internal reports and a monthly summary report
What Were Looking For Education
- Degree or vocational training in a technical or business-related field
Experience
- Experience is not essential but inside sales or telephone-based commercial experience is advantageous
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and confident communication via email and telephone
- Basic analytical capability (data discounts dates)
- Structured working style with disciplined CRM usage
- Ability to learn quickly and adopt best practices
Tools
- Excel Outlook CRM systems (training provided on Vertiv tools)
How Success Is Measured
- Quality and hygiene of pipeline data
- Qualified leads and proposals issued
- Effective support to the CS team
- Progression rate of owned and supported opportunities
