(10) SummerESYSpecial Education Teachers (K-12) - Internal Posting Only

Teacher candidates must hold a valid PA teaching certificate in Learning Support PK-12
Program dates are 7/13/26 - 7/30/26 (Monday through Thursday)
8:00 am - 1:00 pm Staff
8:30 am - 12:30 pm Students

SummerESYSpecial Education Teacher Job Responsibilities:

Plan and maintain a program of instruction that is conducive to the attainment of individual studentsESYgoals and objectives on their IEP.
Develop and nurture the emotional cognitive and social abilities of the students.
Monitor student progress toward achievement of instructional goals and write end ofESYprogress reports.

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area. The selected candidate will provide evidence of a strong academic record excellent educational references and related experience be able to demonstrate knowledge of current educational research and successfully complete a series of interviews along with meeting all local requirements.
