Overview

We are seeking a Lead Middleware Engineer with strong expertise in IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and B2B integrations. This role focuses on secure file transfer partner onboarding and enterprise integration across hybrid (cloud on-prem) environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) implementations and enhancements
• Manage partner onboarding routing channels and business process configurations
• Handle B2B integrations and secure file transfer processes (SFTP AS2 FTP/S)
• Troubleshoot middleware message flows and production issues
• Work across AWS-based and on-prem integration environments
• Provide technical leadership mentoring and ownership of deliverables

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG)
• Experience with B2B/EDI and file transfer integrations
• Expertise in protocols: SFTP AS2 FTP/S
• Knowledge of secure data transfer (TLS PGP)
• Experience with AWS (hybrid cloud/on-prem exposure preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
• Scripting knowledge (Shell or Python)

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) message flows ESQL
• CI/CD DevOps or automation tools
• Monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace
• Exposure to containerization or other cloud platforms (Azure/GCP)
