About the Position

St. Annes-Belfield School seeks a full-time mathematics teacher and advisor for the 2026-2027 school year. This role relies on someone who can confidently teach algebra through calculus and collaborate effectively with co-teachers of the same courses. A successful teacher in this position can explain concepts clearly employ tools to make learning visible adapt their practices to a modular schedule and an integrated math approach and communicate effectively with students.
Full-time classroom teaching experience strong organizational and classroom management skills and the ability to joyfully teach adolescents are required. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching high school-aged students in a standards-based learning environment (SBL) have experience teaching 90-minute classes and hold a masters degree in mathematics mathematics education or a related field.
As an independent school we value community involvement and expect that the selected candidate will serve as a coach and/or lead extracurricular programming beyond the classroom.
