Job Summary

Command the Army AT Wing deliver the JSAT SOTT and enable gliding and parachuting AT expeditions across the Army.

Officer Commanding of the Parachute and Gliding Wings exercising full powers of subordinate command (previous command experience highly desirable).Serve as Technical Authority for all parachuting expeditions providing expert authorisation and supporting STW in PTO assurance inspections.
Provide specialist subject-matter expertise to HQ support DAIB investigations and contribute to technical assurance audits of other parachute centres.
Design review and implement course programmes embedding advanced DSAT training principles and contemporary operational methodology.
Oversight and regulation of contracted service providers ensuring compliance with technical and operational standards.
Strategic management of all property facilities and works services in accordance with MOD regulations and guidance.
Direct management of military and civilian personnel setting operational standards and professional development pathways.
Lead Single-Service liaison at the Air Activities Forum shaping policy and regulating all aspects of gliding and parachuting adventurous training.
BPT-qualified to manage flying operations and deliver JSAT parachute courses as a fully qualified JSAT-assured BS CSI.
Principal Reporting Officer to WSM WSgt and CI providing operational and technical oversight.
Line Manager for Stores Officer ensuring accountability and operational readiness of specialist equipment.
Contract manager for the APA.
Interlocutor with Tri-Service paracuting and gliding stakeholders.
Maintain excellent relations with the Air Wing in Cyprus.
