About the Job: We areseekinga highly skilled and serviceobsessedSecurity Engineerto join our Managed Services team with a primary focus onMicrosoft Defender for Identity. The ideal candidate will bring strong technicalexpertise a securityfirst mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. You willbe responsible fordaytodayoperational management configuration oversight identity security governance and monthly security reporting for our enterprise clients.
Responsibilities:
- Performdaily monitoring tuning and maintenanceof Defender for Identity sensors.
- Overseeconfiguration management ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.
- Troubleshoot sensor health issues and coordinate remediation efforts with internal or client teams.
- Manage andoptimizeidentity security policies detections and alerts across the platform.
- Conductcontinuous improvement assessmentsto strengthen client identity security posture.
- Support investigation ofidentity-basedalerts and collaborate on incident response activities.
- Prepare and delivermonthly platform performance and security reports.
- Present findings trends root causes and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 35 years of experience in security operations identity protection or managed services roles.
- Hands-on experience withMicrosoft Defender for Identity(required).
- Working knowledge of other Defender solutions is preferred including:
- Defender for Office 365 (O365)
- Defender for Cloud
- Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS)
- Defender for Endpoint
- Familiarity withidentity security concepts Active Directory Azure AD / Entra ID.
- Understanding of SIEM/SOAR workflows (e.g. Microsoft Sentinel) is an advantage.
- Coding or scripting skills(PowerShell Python C# etc.) are preferredespecially for automation scenarios.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and documentation abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstratedsecurity firstapproach.
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g. SC200 SC300 AZ500).
