Job Summary
Job Description
The Canada Retirement Product team is seeking a highly organized and detailoriented student to support our product documentation and specification lifecycle. This role helps strengthen our documentation standards by building structured templates cataloguing key product materials and working directly with stakeholders to capture accurate requirements. The ideal candidate is curious processoriented and comfortable working with information in a structured and methodical way.
Key Responsibilities
- Catalogue and inventory product specifications to maintain a comprehensive and organized documentation repository.
- Develop refine and maintain standardized templates that improve consistency and clarity across product specification documents.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather understand and interpret product documentation requirements.
- Apply documentation best practicesincluding structure version control and clarityto ensure highquality outputs.
- Identify gaps or opportunities within existing documentation processes and support enhancements to improve usability and governance.
Required Competencies
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness when reviewing and organizing information.
- Communication: Able to clearly capture and translate stakeholder requirements into wellstructured documentation.
- Collaboration: Works effectively with crossfunctional partners seeks input and builds strong working relationships.
- Organization & Prioritization: Manages multiple tasks keeps documentation structured and meets deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Problem Solving: Uses curiosity and critical thinking to identify documentation gaps and propose improvements.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable working in Microsoft Office/365 especially Word Excel and SharePoint; ability to learn new tools quickly.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a postsecondary coop program in Business Communications Information Management Product Management or a related field.
- Strong writing organization and analytical skills.
- Interest in product documentation process improvement or product development implementation
