The Ocean Cleanup is on a bold mission to develop technology to rid the worlds oceans and rivers of plastic. Our pioneering work focuses on developing innovative solutions that can eliminate plastic pollution at a massive scale. We believe in tackling the plastic crisis through sustainable large-scale systems that can capture plastic from rivers and oceans ultimately removing 90% of ocean plastic by 2040.

About the Position

With a number of mission-critical projects on the horizon we would like to hire a small number of Senior Full-Stack Python Developers on freelance contracts to join our mission for the next six months or so.

You will need to have:

• Strong experience building real applications using Python
• Practical experience with Kubernetes. Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Vue TypeScript is a big plus.
• Experience working with geospatial data and AWS is very beneficial

This is a hybrid working position with 2 days per week at the office and the remainder remotely. You will be contracted as a freelancer and will be paid an agreed day rate.
