JOB SUMMARY
:

Intern will be directly involved in assisting with planning and leading one or more elements of the event arrival and/or departure experience for events of varying size and scope. Intern will analyze data related to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and use advanced software applications to create complex reporting for delivery to leaders at all levels of the business including executive leadership.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with proactive event planning for events of varying size and scope.
  • Leads one or more operational elements of the arrival and/or departure experience for events of varying size and scope.
  • Identifies KPI metrics and assists with data collection.
  • Performs data analysis and builds detailed reports and dashboards.
  • Provides detailed report-outs to leaders at all levels of the business.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Preferred majors include: Computer Science Event Management Hospitality Management Data Analytics or similar.

  • This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
  • All of our internships are paid and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
