We are seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to support the operation of a key warehouse function. This roleis responsible foroverseeing a team of warehouse operatives ensuring efficient daily operationsaccurateinventory management andmaintaininghigh standardsof safety quality and productivity. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to achieve business targets and deliver outstanding customer service.

What will you be doing

• Support the management team with daytoday warehouse operations ensuring business targets are achieved.

• Coordinate team workloadsmonitorperformance and ensure KPIs and quality standards are met.

• Train new warehouseoperativeswithin your area of responsibility.

• Maintainaccurateinventory levels and ensure stock movements are correctly recorded.

• Participate in and support regular stock takes; ensure warehouse systemsremainaccurateand up to date.

• Produce regular operational reports and statistics as.

• Assistin planning capacity requirements for the warehouse.

• Maintainappropriate Health & Safetyand manualhandling standards.

• Ensure warehouse equipment vehicles and machinery aremaintainedand fit for purpose.

• Support the upkeep of a secure clean and efficient working environment.

• Act up for Warehouse Management during leave and absences.

People Management duties:

• Manage time attendance and peoplerelated issues for operatives.

• Communicate targets priorities and operational requirements to staff.

• Liaise with customers suppliers and transport companies as.

• Support grievance and disciplinary processes conduct returntowork and welfare meetings.

About You

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Team Leader with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.

• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.

• Good IT skills especially spreadsheets databases and warehouse systems.

• Analytical numerate and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

• Strong understanding of customer deliverables and the operational impact of nonperformance.

• Excellent attention to detail.

Desirable skills & qualifications:

• Experience working in Warehouse in ateamlead or supervisory capacity.

• Dangerous Goods Handling certification.

• Knowledge of lean techniques and/or FLTlicence.
