Job Purpose |
The role is responsible for leading coordinating and managing all government liaison and statutory compliance activities for mining operations. This includes securing all mandatory statutory clearances ensuring adherence to regulatory norms and maintaining strong professional relationships with key government bodies at both the State and Central levels. The incumbent plays a critical role in ensuring timely approvals enabling uninterrupted project execution operational continuity and smooth site implementation. The position requires close collaboration withMines Heads and Department Heads to ensure compliance obligations are met proactively and efficiently. The role also involves continuous follow-up with regulatory authorities supporting right documentation and keeping internal stakeholders informed on approval status and regulatory developments. - Plan track and manage all statutory clearances required for plant and mine operations (new approvals renewals amendments).
- Ensure compliance with all applicable central and state regulations related to environment mining land industry water energy pollution safety and forest.
- Develop a structured follow-up mechanism to ensure early processing of approvals from all concerned authorities.
- Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation and ensure readiness for inspections audits and renewals.

Government Advocacy & External Coordination | - Connecting project related stakeholders in government and external bodies during Public Hearing process and other consultation programmes like Gram Sabha etc.
- Establishing seamless connects with officials and public representatives to ensure expeditious approvals and movements in prospecting license and mining lease related matters.

Stakeholder Engagement
| - Build effective communication channels with central and state authorities.
- Represent the organization professionally during meetings inspections and hearings.
- Address queries submit required reports and resolve concerns raised by statutory bodies.

Internal Coordination
| - Work closely with Mines Heads Functions and cross-functional teams (Environment Mining Legal Projects etc.) to ensure alignment on compliance requirements.
- Facilitate internal discussions to ensure preparedness before submitting applications or attending regulatory interactions.

| - Monitor policy developments regulatory changes and government notifications related to mining manufacturing environment and land.
- Provide insights to management and advise on compliance risks and mitigation plans.
- Support strategic planning for projects by assessing clearance requirements early in the project lifecycle.
