Remuneration: $200000 TRP

St Vincents Health Australia is a national leader in compassionate innovative healthcare. Our Virtual & Home division (SVVH) is transforming how care is delivered using digital innovation and home-based models to create a more connected and equitable health system.

Reporting to the National Director Growth & Development the Head of Growth will lead the national growth strategy for virtual and home-based care services. You will drive market expansion partnership development pipeline management and commercial performance ensuring our services are sustainable innovative and mission-aligned.

Operating with a start-up mindset inside one of Australias largest not-for-profit health organisations you will translate insights and demand signals into tangible service expansion across virtual care hospital-in-the-home chronic disease management and aged care integration.

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Market Expansion

  • Identify and prioritise new growth opportunities across virtual and home-based care
  • Lead the end-to-end business development lifecycle from opportunity assessment through to implementation handover
  • Develop compelling value propositions informed by market policy and competitor insights

Pipeline & Commercial Delivery

  • Own and govern the national growth pipeline
  • Lead tenders proposals grants and investment cases
  • Support pricing strategy contract negotiation and commercial risk assessment
  • Contribute to forecasting and Board-level commercial reporting

Partnership & Ecosystem Development

  • Build and scale strategic partnerships across health aged care digital health and research sectors
  • Lead partner scoping due diligence and co-design processes

Innovation & Performance

  • Ensure growth initiatives are financially sustainable clinically safe and aligned to Mission
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery through digital enablement and innovative care models

About You

Essential experience

  • Senior experience in business development growth strategy partnerships or commercial health roles
  • Strong understanding of healthcare funding economics and market dynamics
  • Experience leading tenders bids grants or investment proposals
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement negotiation and influencing capability
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in complex environments

Desirable

  • Experience in digital health virtual care or aged care
  • Background in not-for-profit or mission-driven organisations
  • Exposure to pricing cost modelling or health economics
  • Familiarity with design thinking or agile methodologies

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in business health administration marketing or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification (MBA Public Health Commerce or similar) highly regarded
