Workload is distributed between teaching research and service activities. More specifically the qualified candidate will: (1) play a leading role in the design development and delivery of courses for the Petroleum Engineering Program; (2) lead and coordinate research and act as investigator in research projects at the international level; (3) perform administrative duties as allocated by the University and contribute significantly to the mission of the University by representing the School. Excellent communication skills and English fluency are required.
Qualifications :
The successful candidate must have a PhD degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline with a proven research track record and teaching experience commensurate with appointment rank. While open to exceptional candidates across all specialties we especially encourage those to apply with expertise in Production Engineering Artificial Lift Flow Assurance Stimulation or Surface Facility research.

The appointment is a 3-year renewable contract subject to annual performance reviews. An attractive remuneration package for international faculty members includes:
