Job Summary/Purpose

Performs activities necessary to process payroll including maintaining related records analyzing reports and voluntary deduction reports.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Working in a team environment to assist in day-to-day activities which includes but is not limited to:

  • Use advanced technology to process payroll transactions and analyze results for payroll companies.
  • Answer employee requests received through Service Now cases regarding time entry and pay.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Participate in special projects assigned by Payroll department management.
  • Research pay policies documents and works with relevant stakeholders inside and outside of department to ensure accuracy and understanding of pay practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

  • Candidates must be actively pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale).

Minimum knowledge skills and abilities required of the position

  • Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC with the Microsoft Office application package.
