Corporate Legal Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to join our Legal Department for a 10-week summer internship. This hybrid position is designed for law students who have completed their first year of law school and have a strong interest in corporate law international law and contract law particularly within a post-integration business environment. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting legal initiatives and working closely with Sr. Legal Counsel on a variety of corporate and transactional matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Legal Counsel with legal research and analysis related to corporate contract and international law matters
• Support post-integration activities including contract review entity management and compliance tracking
• Draft review and organize contracts agreements and other legal documents
• Participate in due diligence activities related to mergers acquisitions and integrations
• Help maintain contract databases and legal records
• Prepare summaries memoranda and presentations for internal legal and business stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance finance and business operations
• Perform additional legal and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications :

Education

• Completion of first year of law school (1L required) at an accredited institution

Required Experience

• Demonstrated interest in corporate law international law and contract law
• Interest in post-integration work mergers & acquisitions or corporate operations
• Strong research writing and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be located within a commutable distance from our North Shore office in Pittsburgh and able to meet hybrid work expectations
