Job Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Urology is seeking 4 full-time research and clinical (adult and pediatric) open-rank open-tenure faculty members. The successful clinical candidates must have excellent operative skills and experience to include: advanced urological laparoscopic and robotic procedures. The Research Applicants are expected to have earned a Doctorate in Education or a related field a promising or well-established record of external funding and a record of nationally recognized scholarship. Required Qualifications
Physicians Ph.D.s and other qualified individuals interested in being considered for tenured tenure-earning and non-tenured academic faculty positions may apply. Applications should include a brief summary of training specialty qualifications clinical teaching and research activities.

Successful candidates for clinical positions must have the ability to work with heavy clinical volume at UAB the VA Kirklin Clinic and/or Childrens of Alabama.
