About the role
We are looking for an Operations Planner - Rehabilitation Design to contribute to our expanding progressive rehabilitation program.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced and technically minded individual with an understanding of mining and construction related earthworks ideally with a mining planning / scheduling background. This role will work Monday to Friday with ad-hoc travel to our operations in the Pilbara.
Reporting to the Superintendent of Short-Term Planning and working in a diverse collaborative community within the Resource Development Team you will be:
Planning scheduling and designing rehabilitation projects for our Pilbara operations
Actively seeking and identify opportunities for progressive rehabilitation
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate positive outcomes
Identifying risks and driving opportunities for reduced impact mining
Developing and optimising detailed rehabilitation designs and documentation ready for implementation
Supporting implementation of rehabilitation projects by completing design conformance assessments and reconciliations
About you
To be successfully considered for this role you will have:
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team (mandatory first bullet for all
Tertiary or University level qualifications in engineering earth sciences or relevant discipline with at least 3 years professional experience
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Res Dev mine planning surveying or a related field
Experience in mining rehabilitation civil or earthworks
Experience in using to GIS software packages (ArcPro) and FME.

This role will be located in Central Park in the heart of Perth the Pilbara region of Western Australia we own a world-class integrated network of 18 mines 4 independent port terminals a rail network spanning nearly 2000 kilometres and related infrastructure all designed to respond rapidly to changes in demand. We are one of the worlds leading producers and exporters of iron ore.
