Responsibilities:
- Writearticles social media posts digital newsletter content and more.
- Edit and proofread a wide range of content according to AP Style.
- Design engaging graphics for social media using Canva.
- Update website content online calendars and email newsletters.
- Providenew ideasforcreative direction and activelytake partin brainstorming sessions.
- Dive into a wealth of professional development opportunitiesbroadeningyour horizons andbuildingyour network.
- Collaborate on a campaign project from conception to execution.
Qualifications:
- Cover letter and journalistic writing samples
- Available for 20 hours each week during thesummer2026semester.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree (B.S. B.A. M.A. or M.S.) with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Demonstrated excellence in writing and presenting.
- Strongrelationship-buildingand client service skills.
- A detail-oriented and organized approach to tasks.
- An interest in writing public relations and/or public health.
- Proficientin Microsoft Office especiallyPowerPoint Excel and Word.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- Knowledge of graphic design and platforms such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience with photo and video software applications for social media and digital publishing is a plus.
- Experience withdigital platforms and tools such as Salesforce Cascade Sprout Social Google Analytics and Wrike is a plus.
NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee
