Job Summary
At Rubberatkins we take pride in engineering highperformance elastomer and polymer solutions that stand up to the worlds toughest environments. We are looking for a VP of R&D to lead our technical innovation and drive the next generation of Rubberatkins products.
As a senior leader you will set the direction for our R&D function ensuring we continue to deliver robust reliable and innovative solutions for our customers. Youll oversee product development from concept through testing and release ensuring engineering excellence safe design and commercial value at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the R&D team ensuring strong performance clear focus and high technical standards.
- Drive innovation and expand the Rubberatkins product range.
- Oversee all R&D projects ensuring delivery on time on budget and to the highest quality.
- Provide engineering leadership including design calculations FEA and technical documentation.
- Engage directly with customers from concept through to production.
- Work closely with suppliers subcontractors and test houses.
- Support Sales with technical input for quotations and presentations.
- Maintain robust project records and ensure all work meets Rubberatkins Health & Safety expectations.
About You
You will bring senior R&D leadership experience from engineering materials or manufacturing. You will be handson when needed commercially aware technically strong and confident leading a team that values precision integrity and innovation.
